            <content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well, there will probably be always friction points between different traffic types. I got used to ring a bell from pretty far to notify any pedestrians I am somewhere nearby. So far that worked flawlessly.</p>

The tight right angle turns are hard to navigate.</p><p>Also, after our drivers enter a traffic circle, they seem unable to slow/stop if there is a pedestrian blocking their exit (fear of being rear-ended?).</p><p>I find it safer to merge into the car lane and take the traffic circle with cars; or (better) avoid the whole thing.</p>]]></content:encoded>

It takes you away from cars and puts cyclists in a spot that's easier for drivers turning to see, but why not separate the bike and pedestrian crossings?</p>]]></content:encoded>
